When Peter Kannell, previously a month a year annual pilgrim to the tourist sex trade in Thailand, is forced back to England through lack of funds, he returns a defeated, sad and destitute man, He leaves Muay, his Thai partner, hurt and confused, not fully understanding the reasons for his departure, made to realise their dreams were over.

She would have to support her family in anyway she could, perhaps going back to a life of prostitution that he had found her in some 2 years before.

Less than a weel later she shrieks her great joy and joss to Buddha, as on winning the UK Lotto he rejoins her to reversed fortunes.
They embark on a life together, East and Western cultures meeting in intriguing and heart warming circumstances, that brings changes to one and all, with funny and far reaching consequences.
